CIG has a
dedicated staff of
professional software developers. As early on the group recognized that it is often more appropriate to perform certain programming near-site or
on-site in an integrated business and development environment. All programmers have extensive backgrounds in financial services and understand how
best to solve business problems with the appropriate technology. This approach not only ensures better solutions, but also reduces costs and time to market.
In some
cases, prepackaged solutions are not always the best answer to specific business needs.
As such, CIG has developed a limited number of specific tools and core compentencies
to address such needs:
Fixed Income/MBS and Derivatives Support - is a core competency of the group,
as we have build several application systems ranging from front office pricing tools to add-on modules for accounting and settlements.
Back office modules
include customized swift interfaces and add-on accounting and reporting systems. Front office applications include pricing systems in the
Conforming and Non-Conforming MBS sector.
Risk Management and Compliance - is central to the continued and smooth operations of
financial services firms. CIG continuously looks to improve and develop both internal control processes, but in particular to provide the systems
that can support an organization both now and in the future.
Compliance is at the heart of (business) risk management as not only can a firm loose proprietary or
customer funds from unregulated activity, but it can also be severely penalized and even shut down for non-compliance activities
and operational procedures.
Web Technologies – CIG has a speciality in Web Technologies. We developed various web crawlers or web robots. These crawlers can be used to gather security master data, examine trustee websites, or extract information from any semi-organized
